Rutsiro is a lactated in western province of Rwanda, it lies on the Congo Nile crest with 1,159km2(447sq mi) , population 324,654 it capital is Gihango. It lies on the Congo Nile Crest, it features many tourism attraction like scenic lake Kivu, Island, tea and coffee plantations, it is known for having the second biggest inhabited island(Bugara) on the side of the lake kivu. Lake Kivu is the largest lake in Rwanda forming the border with the democratic Republic of Congo, there are limited modern boat services between the major ports of Rusizi, Karongi and Rubavu, Lake Kivu is one of the African great lakes, it has, situated on the border between Rwanda and the democratic republic of Congo, it name originated from Bantu language and means “Lake”. The lake cover a total surface are of some 2,700km2 (1,040sq mi). Transportation casts for inland waterway with considerable quantities of heavily goods will be lower than those of road transport. Passengers waiting for the boat to alive in Muramba, Boneza sector in Rustiro district. They are ready to go in different area of the lake Passengers in a boat form Rubavu to Rusizi Diane Kamikazi enjoying the new boat donated by H.E Paul Kagame This boat was donated the H.E president of the republic of Rwanda in facilitating collaborations between the areas around Lake Kivu. Local boats drivers non-qualified. The non-qualification lead to drivers’ irresponsibility in their daily work and consequently safety of passengers, cargos, and themselves is in danger. A child playing with his goat at Muramba Rustiro is located in high mountain and lies on the Congo Nile Crest, Ibigabiro: this is where the ancient Rwandese used to often cows in the area Drying cassava before making into the cassava flour known as ugali.
